    East Texas Member Forum: Texas Construction Law Has Changed! It will Affect Your Business

    Action taken during the 82nd Texas Legislative Session in 2011, has brought significant changes to the way the construction industry conducts business in Texas. Two new laws will be the focus of this forum HB2093 the “indemnification bill” which creates new standards for indemnification and consolidated insurance programs and SB 425 “certificates of insurance” creating new standards for acceptable certificate of insurance forms.

    This forum will provide you with the context of the current law, as well as a thorough explanation of what you must know about the changes in these laws.
