As of October 1, 2013, the City of Dallas has implemented new green requirements for any new construction or addition within the Dallas city limits. These requirements are mandatory and will be required from both design and construction teams, prior to the issuance of a building permit or certificate of occupancy. This session focuses on the mandatory items that have been adopted under the 2012 International Green Construction Code. We will focus only on the items that have been adopted and are now required, and what compliance entials - such as mandatory 50% construction waste diversion, mandatory indoor air quality testing, water use reduction, etc. If you don't feel like reading the 150 page code and 30 page addendum on your own, then this session is for you!
